One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Devenir took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Brighter Than Heaven looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Champagne Bath couldn't come out from behind the leader, Devenir.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Devenir today. It continued in the lead. Currency Converter started to gallop after 1500m and Jim Oscarsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Devenir kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Devenir today who won before Brighter Than Heaven and Champagne Bath.
