The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Visby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Expert Opinion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Black Monster galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Smashing Sensation sprinted to the front. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Smashing Sensation clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Smashing Sensation was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Black Monster galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



With only a little left of the race Whatever Rose galoped for 30 m. Gynge Den Bane was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Expert Opinion litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Gynge Den Bane galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Fawltys Hardest won the race after a spectacular finish.
