The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Miss Troublemaker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Earlybird started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Sparkler looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Famous Wardrobe couldn't come out from behind the leader, Miss Troublemaker.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Miss Troublemaker followed by Famous Wardrobe and Toronto Maiden. Lane two Sparkler followed by Earlybird and .




Miss Troublemaker sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Earlybird gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



Miss Troublemaker were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Sparkler sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
