Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Map took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Lasercut, Skipping Girl, Walking Map, Quick Moment, Svatoj, Dreaming Bear, High Excellency, Stopping Puma.




Walking Map sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Lasercut galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Bankroller galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Walking Map was still in the lead after 1500m. Svatoj started to gallop after 1500m and Veijo Heiskanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Walking Map sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Walking Map were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Skipping Girl galoped way to long and was disqualified.




Svatoj sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
