The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kalajoki today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rugged Tank sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Front Fist to trotting so they were disqualified.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Prime Guard sprinted to the front. Listening Factory started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Sliding Bullet took the lead after 1000m. Speed Into Fire didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sliding Bullet today. It continued in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Front Fist galoped for 50 m. Sliding Bullet were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Prime Guard made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Speed Into Fire.
