One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dove Starlight could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Massive Beat started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Unforced Error, Dove Starlight, White And Blue, Major Man, Of The Needle, Red Eye, Massive Beat, Perfect Champion.




Dove Starlight sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Unforced Error looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Dove Starlight showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. White And Blue showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Major Man speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Major Man today who won before Red Eye and Unforced Error.
