One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ban could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m. The Diplomat was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Sören Eriksson wanted a little to much in the start and Les Le Temps galoped for 10 m.




Big Striker quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Thunderforce looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Les Le Temps couldn't come out from behind the leader, Big Striker. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Big Striker was still in the lead after 1500m.




Ban put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Ban sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Thunderforce never caught up with Ban who won. Les Le Temps came third.
