Only a humble breeze blew over Årjäng this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waving Red took the lead after a very quick start. Lord Of Kings suddenly started to galop. Åke Lindblom had to struggle to get Lord Of Kings to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Stopping Puma, Caen Diplomat, Mac Cheek, Admiral Sniper, Postcard From Montreal, Talkie Talkie, Madame Grizzly, Smashing Sensation.




Smashing Sensation took the lead after 1000m. Talkie Talkie didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Insane Maid galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Smashing Sensation followed by Waving Red and Mac Cheek. Lane two Talkie Talkie followed by Lord Of Kings and Postcard From Montreal.



Talkie Talkie was first on the homestretch followed by Waving Red and Smashing Sensation.






Waving Red sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
