One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Rugged Rock. Opposing Thought ended up behind the leader. Prince Titan got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 20 m.




Rugged Rock was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Rugged Rock kept the speed the whole finish and won before Prince Titan and Walnut Grove Willie.
