It had been raining for several days at Kalmar but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Jet Black sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Louise Kalcedon sprinted to the front. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

African Fighter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jet Black couldn't come out from behind the leader, Louise Kalcedon. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 20 m. With only a little left of the race Diamond Flame galoped for 40 m. African Fighter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Jet Black couldn't come out from behind the leader, Louise Kalcedon.

Focused Comet showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Ulf Ohlsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Diamond Flame started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Louise Kalcedon didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
