The sun was shining on Bjerke today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Cheval Noir. Flower Gold ended up behind the leader. Rugged Fist got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 10 m.

Rugged Fist saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Cheval Noir looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Flower Gold couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged Fist. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rugged Fist today. It continued in the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Rugged Fist kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

With only a little left of the race Bohemians galoped for 50 m. Rugged Fist sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Åsbjørn Tengsareid tried a little too much on the homestretch and Climbing Striker started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Cheval Noir made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Rugged Fist.
