The sun was shining on Östersund today. A perfect day for trotting.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Shining
Madness sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and
Grass Green F. sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of
Third Jewel who started to galop and lost 20 m.
I Aint Going started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Beauté showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Sonnys Celebration took the lead rather easily.
Shining
Madness saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Sonnys Celebration started to gallop after 1500m and Ulf Eriksson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Third Jewel started to gallop after 1500m and Patrick Wickman had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Holy
Sunray started to gallop after 1500m and Olle Carlsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Icecold Mind started to gallop after 1500m and Daniel Wikberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Shining
Madness looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Sonnys Celebration never caught up with
Shining
Madness who won.
Steel
Platinum came third.
