One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

The Pearl took the lead after a very quick start. Backstabbing Cookie galloped way to long and was disqualified.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nach Dies Augenblick suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Fairy M.v. was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Fire And Ice suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Vacherie saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Unknown gallopped for 30 m. driver couldn't keep The Pearl to trotting so they were disqualified.

With only a little left of the race The Pearl galoped for 40 m. Vacherie were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Final standings. 1 Fairy M.v., 2 Vacherie, 3 Pointing Glittering.
