One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Amazing Sunray. Beautiful Rocket ended up behind the leader. Little Nova got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Powerful Power started to galop and lost 20 m. Peikko suddenly started to galop. Gunnar Austevoll had to struggle to get Peikko to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Little Nova looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Beautiful Rocket couldn't come out from behind the leader, Amazing Sunray.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Little Nova followed by Beautiful Rocket and Flower Garden. Lane two Amazing Sunray followed by Powerful Power and Eckletess. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Peikko gallopped for 10 m.




Little Nova kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Beautiful Rocket kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Powerful Power galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Beautiful Rocket kept the speed the whole finish and won before Amazing Sunray and Little Nova.
