One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were True Convention. The Specialist ended up behind the leader. Pontiac got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Pontiac, True Convention, Just A Fling, Manian, Space Ice, Royal Miracle, The Specialist, Lucky Flower. The Specialist was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Just A Fling took the lead after 1000m. Manian didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. The Specialist suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Just A Fling was still in the lead after 1500m.

Just A Fling were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Just A Fling showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Final standings. 1 Pontiac, 2 True Convention, 3 The Specialist.
