Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kemijärvi track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dreaming Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Pretty Princess was in fine shape and held the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Where The Scatman who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Relaxing Map clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Relaxing Map was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




Relaxing Map didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Relaxing Map looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






My Favorite Game never caught up with Dreaming Star who won. Rex came third.
