One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

I Can Boogie took the lead after a very quick start. Royal Prince was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. driver couldn't keep Vers L'avant to trotting so they were disqualified.

I Can Boogie was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

I Can Boogie clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

In A Box accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

In A Box looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

I Can Boogie sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
