One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Portable Angel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Tambourine Man, Smiling Feeling, President Of Earth, Honourable Wolf, Portable Angel, Running Comet, Falling Striker, Singing Lilac.

The leader got disturbed by something and President Of Earth took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one President Of Earth followed by Falling Striker and Singing Lilac. Lane two Running Comet followed by Easy Access and Portable Angel. Portable Angel started to gallop after 1500m and Carlos Söderström had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Running Comet suddenly took over the lead.

Running Comet sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Running Comet kept the speed the whole finish and won before Falling Striker and President Of Earth.
