One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sonnys Celebration found a gap and took the lead. Speed Freak followed before Cap Ferret. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Vivre Sa Vie, Balle De Match, Rush And Crush, Être Feux, Speed Freak, Portable Plan, Cap Ferret, Sonnys Celebration. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Rush And Crush sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
