One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Big Striker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Rod Of Asclepius saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m. Invisible Sound galloped way to long and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Rose Garden who started to galop and lost 20 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rod Of Asclepius today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rose Garden gallopped for 20 m.

Rose Garden was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Giggling Girl litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

No-one could catch Giggling Girl today who won before Big Striker and Rod Of Asclepius.
