One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Shooting Asteroid took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Big Missile, Shooting Asteroid, Ener I Spades, Super Furry Animal, Full Access, Uploader, Calming Sniper, Glory Of Gold. Thunder By Night galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Big Missile was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Eloi galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Big Missile today. It continued in the lead. Calming Sniper started to gallop after 1500m and Jim Frick had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Big Missile sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Shooting Asteroid won. Big Missile came in second. Ener I Spades caught third place.
