The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sweet As Candy. Menuette ended up behind the leader. Tropical Kavat got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Spiral Galaxy was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Menuette sprinted to the front. Spiral Galaxy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Sweet As Candy sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Total Eclipse showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




The Pearl accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Menuette galloped for 30 m. Ghostly Diamond galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Tropical Kavat litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






The Pearl won. Light Heat came in second. Tropical Kavat caught third place.
