Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Årjäng track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Powerful Power sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Elegant Winter started to galop and lost 10 m.




Sliding Boulder saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Powerful Power sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Powerful Power was still in the lead after 1500m.




Powerful Power didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m. Unknown gallopped 40 m after 2000m.



Powerful Power was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Powerful Power kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Monsieur Pérignon, 2 Powerful Power, 3 Convee.
