It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Singing Forest took the lead after a very quick start. Red Dream was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Singing Forest was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lonely Twister sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Lonely Twister was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Singing Forest galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Red Dream galoped for 20 m. Lonely Twister sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Starshine Summer won the race after a spectacular finish.
