One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Poursuivre Mon Ombre could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Shadow Star was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Poursuivre Mon Ombre was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. driver couldn't keep Shadow Star to trotting so they were disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Poursuivre Mon Ombre followed by Violent Rose and Dove Princess. Lane two North Carolina followed by Canary and Mix It Up.




Poursuivre Mon Ombre sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



North Carolina galloped way to long and was disqualified. Poursuivre Mon Ombre kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Poursuivre Mon Ombre. Violent Rose came in second. North Carolina became third.
