The sun was shining on Mantorp today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Oroya Flower sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Micael Stjernström wanted a little to much in the start and Aurore Royale galoped for 20 m.




Common Ground saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Insane Brightness who started to galop and lost 40 m. Glowing Pie started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Starshine who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Common Ground clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Aurore Royale galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Glowing Pie suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Common Ground was still in the lead after 1500m.



Common Ground looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Common Ground. Wandering Ruby came in second. Oroya Flower became third.
