The weather had been good all week and Årjäng was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Jolly Stardust. Relaxing Ship ended up behind the leader. Gentleman Scout got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Little Starshine was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




Dream King quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Shooting Moon sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Shooting Moon today. It continued in the lead.



Rosen Bist Rot was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Relaxing Ship speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Relaxing Ship didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
