One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Enlightened took the lead after a very quick start. Enlightened was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Enlightened was in fine shape and held the lead. Enlightened was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Enlightened was still in the lead after 1500m. Québec Thunder put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Québec Thunder was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m. Coughing Galaxy gallopped 50 m after 2000m. Québec Thunder kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Jorma Kontio tried a little too much on the homestretch and Amazing Summer started to galopp and lost 10 m. Enlightened made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Thunder Strong. Results
