The sun was shining on Solvalla today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lone Frenzy took the lead after a very quick start.

Animal Nitrate was in fine shape and held the lead. Onside Traveller started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Screaming Map today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Animal Nitrate gallopped for 50 m. driver couldn't keep Bambino Giornaliere Del Dolce to trotting so they were disqualified.

Screaming Map didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Flower Lady was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Screaming Map were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Fair Winter was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.

Screaming Map never caught up with Lone Frenzy who won. Awesome Fast came third.
