It had been raining for several days at Årjäng but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Aerostar sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Very Special suddenly started to galop. Benny Danielsson had to struggle to get Very Special to tror again and succeded after 20 m. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Aerostar galoped for 40 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Fair Trap who started to galop and lost 30 m. Advanced Sniper galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Aerostar looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Star couldn't come out from behind the leader, Four Of Spades. Placé Premier galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Four Of Spades followed by Very Special and Audessus De La Loi. Lane two Big Star followed by Aerostar and Fair Trap. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Fair Trap gallopped for 20 m.

Four Of Spades looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Big Star never caught up with Four Of Spades who won. Very Special came third.
