Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Gävle track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brave Beard could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Oroya Flower started to galop and lost 10 m.




Honourable Valley saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Backstabbing Meadow saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Backstabbing Meadow kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Erik Lindegren tried a little too much on the homestretch and Clever Box started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Backstabbing Meadow kept the speed the whole finish and won before Honourable Valley and Oroya Flower.
