One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Varenne Mafia could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Supreme Victory started to galop and lost 10 m. Octavia Larockma suddenly started to galop. Dick Sjöberg had to struggle to get Octavia Larockma to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

Solid As Sugar saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Hekate sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Thai Rack suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m. Laissez-faire galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Hekate was still in the lead after 1500m.

Wish Come True seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Wish Come True seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.

Wish Come True sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Supreme Victory won the race after a spectacular finish.
