One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Platinum Rocker found a gap and took the lead. Stormy Crowd followed before Helpful Box.




Cariac quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Cariac clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Platinum Rocker galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Calming Box looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Helpful Box was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Calming Box kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Platinum Rocker galop. Platinum Rocker lost 10 m.




Cariac made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Stormy Crowd.
