One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Polished Band. Mebbartin ended up behind the leader. Fast Track Racer got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Big Fighter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Mebbartin looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fast Track Racer couldn't come out from behind the leader, Big Fighter.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Big Fighter followed by Fast Track Racer and Polished Band. Lane two Mebbartin followed by Stunning Sunray and Dreaming Paradigm.

Big Fighter kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Stunning Sunray sprinted over the finishline before Polished Band and Fast Track Racer.
