It had been raining for several days at Eskilstuna but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Pretty Moment. Maxime Maxence ended up behind the leader. Straight Forward got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Straight Forward, Admiral Frenzy, Pretty Moment, Rugged Mind, Rugged Tank, Yellow Jacket, Swing It, Captain Multispeed. A bird flew just in front of Maxime Maxence who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Rugged Mind took the lead after 1000m. Rugged Tank didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged Mind followed by Straight Forward and Admiral Frenzy. Lane two Rugged Tank followed by Pretty Moment and Maxime Maxence.



Rugged Tank was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Rugged Mind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Rugged Mind didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
