Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Umåker track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Brave Sugar. Focused Steel ended up behind the leader. Love Flower got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Pretty Grove, Påarps Miss Norway, Focused Steel, Brave Sugar, Close Technology, Wrathchild, Tropical Jewel, Love Flower.

Close Technology sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Close Technology was still in the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Belle Fleur galoped for 20 m. Påarps Miss Norway galloped for 60m and was disqualified. With only a little left of the race Belle Fleur galoped for 50 m. Brave Sugar suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Belle Fleur showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Wrathchild never caught up with Brave Sugar who won. Tropical Jewel came third.
