Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Leangen track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Wood Horsetail took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Super Lightning, Waving Sky, Flash Stone, Moving Thrasher, Finnsh Flash, Anybody Knows, Surveiller, Wood Horsetail. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Anybody Knows looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Moving Thrasher couldn't come out from behind the leader, Super Lightning. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Solid Asteroid was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Super Lightning was still in the lead after 1500m.

Super Lightning sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Super Lightning sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Stein Egil Nervik tried a little too much on the homestretch and Cheval Noir started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Super Lightning didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
