One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Criterion could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Promise Man quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Bon Verve sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Criterion showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bon Verve followed by Sheriff Hornline and Brown And Brawny. Lane two Promise Man followed by King Of Dynamite and Millie Onion.



Bon Verve kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Bon Verve. King Of Dynamite came in second. Promise Man became third.
