One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Katzenjammer. Sliding Thrasher ended up behind the leader. Jumping Boulder got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Northern Light, Khashoggi´s Ship, Sliding Thrasher, Crunchy Crisp, Perfect Diamond, Jumping Boulder, Roll Twice, Destiny.




Sliding Thrasher sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. driver couldn't keep Roll Twice to trotting so they were disqualified. Northern Light galloped way to long and was disqualified. Crunchy Crisp galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sliding Thrasher followed by Perfect Diamond and Katzenjammer. Lane two Khashoggi´s Ship followed by Destiny and Jumping Boulder.



With only a little left of the race Roll Twice galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Destiny galoped for 40 m. Sliding Thrasher looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Perfect Diamond sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
