One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Just Amazing could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Jorma Kontio wanted a little to much in the start and Confident Box galoped for 30 m.

Confident Box saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Leaving Sydney took the lead rather easily. Unknown galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Leaving Sydney today. It continued in the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Just About Luck speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Just Amazing galopped for 10 m on the homestretch. Roger Malmqvist tried a little too much on the homestretch and River Fall started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Leaving Sydney made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Just About Luck.
