Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åby track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Retro Energy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Dancing Girl saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Go For Europe took the lead after 1000m. Retro Energy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Go For Europe followed by Trophy Chaser and Falling Queen. Lane two Diavolo followed by Retro Energy and Northern Light. Northern Light started to gallop after 1500m and Stefan Persson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Diavolo was first on the homestretch followed by Retro Energy and Go For Europe.






Final standings. 1 Retro Energy, 2 Trophy Chaser, 3 Go For Europe.
