The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Mercredi. Intelligent Folder ended up behind the leader. Prince Of Pride got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Intelligent Folder, Fair Galaxy, Mercredi, Wondering Necklace, Solid As Sugar, Backstreet Guy, Space Champion, Wish Me Luck.

Mercredi looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Space Champion couldn't come out from behind the leader, Intelligent Folder.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Intelligent Folder today. It continued in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Wondering Necklace galoped for 30 m. Intelligent Folder sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Solid As Sugar galop. Solid As Sugar lost 40 m.

Fair Galaxy made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Space Champion.
