The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jyväskylä this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Independent could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen wanted a little to much in the start and Blackeberga Will galoped for 50 m.

Just Wolf saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Independent sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

King Of East accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Unknown galloped for 40 m.

Independent put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Unknown was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.

With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 30 m. Independent kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Jumping Frenzy was disturbed and galopped for 10 m.

Just Wolf won the race after a spectacular finish.
