It had been raining for several days at Sodankylä but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Skalman. Fromage Fromage ended up behind the leader. Wood Horsetail got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown suddenly started to galop. had to struggle to get Unknown to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

Fromage Fromage saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Pin Stripe took the lead rather easily. Unknown was disturbed and galoped 10 m. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.

Pin Stripe was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 30 m. Earn Dibs galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Pin Stripe sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Cornichon to trotting so they were disqualified. Cornichon was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Winner of todays race was Pin Stripe. Wood Horsetail came in second. Skalman became third.
