The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Dannero this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rainmaker found a gap and took the lead. Important Issue followed before Excellent Ex. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Singing Diamond looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Rainmaker couldn't come out from behind the leader, Thunderstruck.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Singing Diamond followed by Important Issue and Thunderstruck. Lane two Rainmaker followed by Excellent Ex and Waving Lovebreaker. Unknown galloped for 30 m. Aurore Royale galloped for 40 m.



Important Issue sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jan-Olov Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Aurore Royale started to galopp and lost 30 m. Aurore Royale galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




No-one could catch Excellent Ex today who won before Important Issue and Rainmaker.
