It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Billie Jean sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Backstabbing Trap to trotting so they were disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Lady Laday, Billie Jean, Starstruck Peach, Sergeant Boulder, Mustard, Flèche, Focused Knight, Pointing Summer.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Sergeant Boulder accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Sergeant Boulder didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Stronger Then Ever was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Sergeant Boulder sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Åke Sundberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Backstabbing Trap started to galopp and lost 10 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Backstabbing Trap galop. Backstabbing Trap lost 40 m.




Final standings. 1 Starstruck Peach, 2 Sergeant Boulder, 3 Billie Jean.
