One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moonlight Heat found a gap and took the lead. Painted Muiscles followed before Guilty Commissioner.




Painted Muiscles saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Guilty Commissioner looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Moonlight Heat couldn't come out from behind the leader, Painted Muiscles.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Painted Muiscles today. It continued in the lead. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



With only a little left of the race Unknown galoped for 30 m. Painted Muiscles kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Guilty Commissioner never caught up with Painted Muiscles who won. Moonlight Heat came third.
