One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Peu Miracle sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Guaranteed was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Security Chief quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Leaving Sydney took the lead after 1000m. Guaranteed didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.
