The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Östersund this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hidalgo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Singing Starshine sprinted to the front. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Toussaint started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Blinding Lights took the lead rather easily.




I'm Pure Evil looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Toussaint galoped for 40 m. Hard Fist galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Toussaint galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Blinding Lights was first on the homestretch followed by I'm Pure Evil and Hidalgo.

Toussaint galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Hidalgo made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before I'm Pure Evil.
