The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Årjäng this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Thunder Flame sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Singing Jewel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Gentleman Scope sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Toropets was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Lazaret suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Comfortable Ship galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Toropets looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Getting Fast galloped for 20 m.

With only a little left of the race Flying Pride galoped for 50 m. Gentleman Scope suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Toropets galop. Toropets lost 40 m. Thunder Flame showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Gentleman Scope didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
